Streets 2k8 at the Raritan River Art Walk and Deiner Park in New Brunswick NJ on Saturday, September 20th, 2k8 (rain date: September 21st) 10am to 7pm This is second annual interactive event featuring artists from all over the East Coast. Check out photos from the last year to get better idea of the scope. In addition to painting a mile long mural, this year is going to be even more exciting with live entertainment, performers and prizes for selected artists. Main Stage: Raices Caribenas DJ Peter Brauch 3 Time Mother Sailors in Rags Gospel Singers Drill Teams from the local schools B-Boys and B-Girls and more... Juried Call for Art! In order to qualify for the prizes which will consist of Sabotaz Spray Paint, Liquitex Acrylic Paint and Winsor & Newton Canvases and Brushes (retail value of each prize is over $150) please fill out the registration form and attach a sketch of proposed artwork for the event. The jury will select five artists to receive these free art supplies. Everyone will paint... Bring your own paint! Directions: Follow the directions to the gate B.
